Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mistress Gaia Wolfen lives atop a high mountain in its cloud-shrouded peaks. She is seldom seen, for she prefers to be alone and rarely ventures off her mountain or below the cloud cover. However, she will occasionally visit other family members to make sure everyone is alright. She may act cold and a bit mean but she cares deeply for her family, especially Kaiser Wolfen who is the ruler of a range of mountains not far from her own, and the dragon she can relate to most. She will not tolerate any strangers who trespass upon her territory and will conjure a horrid storm to drive them away. She blends in well with her surroundings of heavy gray clouds, which she makes sure are always there. All Gaia wants is to be left alone in peace, not to fight over territory with the many greedy dragons who wish to claim her mountain as their own. She's a very independent dragon and rarely asks for help from anyone for anything,some believe she may be too independant.
