Sunset Dragons are closely related to sunrise dragons. However, their behaviors differ greatly. Sunset Dragons generally live alone or in small packs. They are more active in the evening, hunting and performing all of their daily tasks as the sun sets.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ambrglas used to be somewhat sane, but whenever her hatch-mate Da Sveydaniya comes into her range of vision, she'll be off like a shot, pursuing him and chanting, "Mate with me! Mate with me!" Sveydaniya is afraid of her. He does care for her, true, but only in the ways that she won't get hurt while chasing him through the tightly winding tunnels he frequents in the mountains. Sveydaniya is smaller than Ambrglas, and will frequently end up being cornered, only to find that Ambrglas is too big to reach him.

Ambrglas is big for her breed, and is constantly teased about it by Kaeri, a strangely minded little Day Glory Drake.

When she isn't chasing Sveydaniya, Ambrglas acts like a normal Sunset Dragon, frolicking through the air with the other Sunsets of the area.
