Welcome to Dragon Cave! Dragon Cave is an online adoptables game. Collect eggs, raise them to adulthood, and then breed them to create interesting lineages. New dragons are added regularly!
Gold dragons are the ones most often killed by humans, who consider their scales to be extremely valuable. These golden scales grant them a high level of protection, similar to armor, and they use this to their advantage in battle.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
No Barking was abandoned as a young hatchling for reasons still unknown, and was found shortly after by a pack of stray dogs. Apparently mistaking her for a puppy, the dogs treated No Barking as one of their own and kept her well fed and cared for. By the time she was rescued and brought to the cave, shortly before she matured to an adult, No Barking was entirely convinced that she was a dog, not a dragon. She is still entirely convinced of this, hence the phrase 'no barking!' being the most commonly heard line in the cave, to the point where she came to view it as her name.
