Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Skesee was born the first child of Skyanar and Skyener, and they were so happy when his egg was produced for they had feared that they would be unable to breed. His egg worried them often, however, remaining soft to the touch no matter what actions they took to prevent it. One night there was a terrible storm and, although Skyanar and Skyener sought shelter from their sky nest, a tragedy befell them. Another egg fell from the sky, obviously lost from the Gray dragons who also inhabited their sky home, and crashed into their temporary nest. Both eggs tumbled through the air before smashing on the ground far below. Devastated, Skyener and Skyanar swooped to the ground to collect the remains of their lost child but, to thier amazement, they found TWO hatchlings still alive on the ground- thier Skesee and a young gray hatchling that they named Stophen. Although plagued by many sickness throughout their young lives, Skesee and Stophen grew to be the best of friends, more like brothers.
