Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Heliolitte is an unusually large dragon, even for his breed. He is one of the very few who use physical powers as frequently as magical. Because of his size, most smaller kinds of dragons fear him and he takes advantage of this in order to never let anyone deny him a thing. The only dragons who stand up to him are the ones even larger and more imposing than himself, as well as his mate, Sulphura, who never felt anything close to love for him. But, despite her futile tries and clever uses of magic to stop him, he is still too powerful and keeps tormenting the smaller and weaker.
