Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It is very dark in color, but its eyes glow brightly.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Zaati doesn't know it but in fact she is a really strong active empath. As long as something makes her happy, others around her get a general fuzzy feeling as well (well at leaset it seems to work for adult dragons). When she is sad, no adult dragon can really be happy and so on. It probably is due to a weird mixture of genetics, enhanced "cute" and childlike features, and draconic telepathy that make adults extra susceptible to her moods.

Zaati loves her older sister Ferret and follows her around everywhere and the pretty little melody Ferret and Mrana Mrana sing is her new favourite thing in the world.
