Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Golden Tantrum is quite beautiful, even by tinsel standards, with seemingly flawless golden scales that gleam in the sunlight.  Unfortunately, she's also spoiled rotten, thanks to overindulgent parents and a ready supply of dragons willing to gaze adoringly at her.  She throws loud tantrums whenever she doesn't get her way (which is quite often, given her frequently unreasonable demands) and sulks for hours when other dragons fail to agree to her wishes.  It's no surprise that nobody, not even Golden Tantrum herself, can remember her real name.
