Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Kellywise lives in a dark, dank tunnel—not surprising considering she's a dragon, except her home of choice is a sewer beneath a city inhabited by humans. It's a wonder she fits down there, but locals know not to stop and investigate because she has a habit of luring and yanking people into the sewer, down there where the doodies are. She loves attention but has the strangest way of seeking it: she stays near the opening of the sewer and entices individuals to come closer by offering "crazy, crazy quote"; showing them their greatest fears; and impersonating people they know via illusion magic. Once the victim is close enough, Kellywise lunges and chomps down with her long, sharp teeth, and she pulls them into the sewer. The makeup she wears is uncanny—a lead white paler than her natural skin tone, with red streaks beneath her eyes and around her mouth.
