Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Unlike the other hatchlings, this one hatched with wings.

And look! Its back legs have become a second set of wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Don Henley is a very excited dragon. He always twists and spins, and does flips in the air, once he's started, you can't get him down! He loves to be taught new things, and his favorite subject is maths, English and science. His personal trainer, Ann Wilson, almost pulls her scales off because of how smart he is. If Ann had hair, she'd be pulling that out too! No one complains about his education ability, as most the time it comes in useful. Some even say he should go on the local dragon quiz show, and score himself a rare dragon friend.
