Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Though only the second egg born in his family (his name, in Drow, means "two"), Draa was raised as the firstborn after the true firstborn egg was lost in a hurricane. Constantly reminded of his parents' loss, he tries hard to please them, striving to do as well as his long-lost sibling. He can be tightly wound at times, and it is often up to his sister Llar to get him to relax and enjoy life.
