Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Fydda Ljus is a very self-conscious dragon. Despite her beautiful glow, she feels that she is hideous and unworthy of the love that is shown to her by her mate, Jaz Cider, her children, and her many friends. She wishes to become more confident like Malisie, Kerzi, and many other female dragons of the clan. However, her low self-esteem keeps her from fully embracing her confident side.
