Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

As any self-respecting Magi dragon, Shostaki is really skillful in magic. However, she uses it to bring beauty to other people, not misfortune and misery. Your flowers died yesterday, but don't worry, Shostaki is here to help. Need a new ribbon for your dress, well, Shostaki's right there! And of course, she never fights using her magic. She is really small though, which combined with her indecisiveness when it comes to magic can result in a pretty... herbivorous diet. Her other passion is potions—this is where she is not scared to use all the violent ways there are. One is not advised to take anything from Shostaki—it might be poisoned! Of course, she never hurts those she loves, and if she has reasons to poison you you'll know that for sure (angry snarls are certainly a sign of this). Despite this strange tweak, she has many friends who know that once you bond with her you get the most loyal companion around.
