Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Once upon a time, there was a man of 20 years within a remote village. For reasons unknown, he was, at one point, given the nickname of "Snuffles" by his peers, much to his dismay. While many laughs were had over this, the man newly deemed Snuffles took it as a threat against his masculinity.

His rage accumulated over time, and it eventually took on the literal form of a ferocious, fire breathing dragon. Such a creature was meant to be a symbolic metaphor towards what the young man felt when reminded of such a humiliating nickname.

The dragon turned out to be female, however, and such a fact only caused even further ridicule to befall the man despite his pleas, which in turn fueled the rampages of the beast all the more. This forever continued in a vicious cycle that only served to cost many humans their lives to fury incarnate.

This is the tale of Snuffles the Fearsome has been told over the ages.
