Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It glows brightly, and seems to prefer warm areas.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Coal is a quiet hatchling that tends to sleep most of the day, only becoming somewhat active at night. It will refuse to move about in a cold atmosphere and seems to prefer being in very close proximity to any Ember dragons due to the intense body heat they give off. It doesn't like to play as much as the average hatchling and seems preoccupied with sleeping and staying warm to care about anything else.
