White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Shortly after hatching there were clear signs that something was wrong with Ghost. She would sleep during the daytime, and, if woken, stumble about as if blind. Further study revealed that she had inherited night-vision from her extraordinary Black Mother and could see perfectly in the dark. Naturally she was inclined to go out at night to feed, but with her white scales would be extremely visible and easily fall prey to predators. Therefore she was restricted to an enclosure where she grew to adulthood whilst the Dragonologist Amuletts searched for black dragon eggs—she had a plan.

Amuletts obtained three eggs which she gave to Ghost who lovingly raised three females named Nightsarrow, Nightspirit and Nightswift. As a result these three black dragons consider Ghost to be their Mother and always protect her during night-time excursions.

Alongside a Guardian dragon, Poth, the family have been relocated and are living happily in their natural environment. Poth has become Ghosts mate.
