Spotted Greenwings are relatively small nocturnal dragons. Easily recognizable by the fleshy appendages growing off of their head and rump, they are most commonly seen in forests at night, leaping and soaring from tree to tree. While generally social, spotted greenwings are very quiet and rarely make any sort of vocalization. Their bodies are unusually warm to the touch, though they are unable to breathe fire. Greenwings are voracious feeders and will consume nearly any living thing that they can fit in their mouths.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

5KIM5 likes to shout—she's so shouty, she doesn't count her name as hers unless it is shouted. When she went looking for a partner, the only dragon who could stand to be around her without getting a headache was kTedk, whose telepathic receptivity is so bad he doesn't realize how loud KIM is. KIM likes to scamper across his back as a testament to how much she trusts him—given that he is a bleeding moon, his tolerance is astounding.

Often, KIM will "write" poetry for her mate. These poems always start "Roses are red, violets are blue", then proceed on to two or three stanzas plagiarized out of various well-known valkemarian poems. Finally, she finishes the piece with the first line of a poem out of her favorite book of love poems. She thinks that Ted hasn't caught on and keeps telling herself to write her own work—but she's afraid she'll embarrass herself by making something bad. He is well-read, but enjoys testing his memory guessing which poems she's combined on any given day.
