Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ragoth is quite interesting, compared to the others of his breed. At some point between a hatchling and adolescence, his clan was attacked by a large hunting party of humans. Although the dragons escaped, Ragoth suffered deep wounds, which he barely survived. After recovering, he had acquired many scars, which affected his scales, showing many deformities. Because of Lumina Dragons' obsessiveness over their beauty, the clan started to question if Ragoth had a place there at all, and he was soon cast out of the clan entirely. Ragoth was taken in by a small family of Copper Dragons, where he was raised to adulthood. His title, "the Redeemer", comes from his just actions of bringing justice to many different dragons, using his trained skills to strike down ones who have done wrong. Although friendly to almost everyone, Ragoth is barbaric and ruthless to his enemies, and is rumored to have plans to redeem himself, in slaying the very ones who exiled him in the beginning.
