Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A Dance Beneath the Pines is one of Phoenix's dragons. She is a clever, puzzle-loving dragon with a taste for mysteries and a hint of mischief, but like all Christmas spirits, she has a heart of gold. Much to her annoyance, she is often a subject to curious males, and it isn't unusual for her to watch in mild amusement from the sidelines as they bicker with each other over her. This rivalry is always in jest, however, as her mate is My Garden Got Up and Walked Away, and the two of them (though both flirtatious) are ultimately quite content with one another.

Pine also has a certain sense of style and class that can come off as quite annoying, but she isn't an arrogant creature, and entirely ignores the attempted competition she gets from Sing a Different Tune and Vyra the Proud. She prefers to keep company among dragons that "aren't so low that they have to bring others lower so that they feel less low" (as she says), such as Crest Outmatching Quaoar and Bright-Eyes Aecara.
