Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Viridis Vermes's name means 'Green Wyrm'. He is a wicked, power-hungry dragon who threatens others into doing his bidding. He probably would have seized power long ago, had it not been for the Corrupt, an organization of evil dragons who lead the clan. After afiling to recruit him, they decided that Viridis was too great a threat to ignore. After much strife, they were able to defeat him. However, he was able to escape, and burrowed into the earth before they could stop him. Now the green dragon is hiding in a nearly airtight underground chamber, which he dug out by use of his earth magic. The other dragons know where he is, but the cave is thousands of feet below them. For now, they are unable to catch him.
