Vampire Dragons are members of the undead. They sustain themselves by drinking the blood of others. It is said that they are only “alive” at night, and seem dead or asleep during the day, as they cannot endure sunlight for long periods of time. Vampire Dragons can only reproduce by changing the eggs of other dragons, puncturing the shell with their fangs and injecting venom that kills the baby inside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

It wasn't long before they noticed something was wrong with the egg. That egg that they had found, stone cold and near death. Apollo's Harp, who was more or less the founder of the Wolf Feather Clan, took the egg in, and many reds gathered around it, trying to warm life into it again. For three days they waited, until the front of the egg shattered like ice, and a small hatchling tumbled onto the warm sand, limp and unmoving. The whole of the Clan mourned, for they all believed the sickly fledgling to be dead.

But, after a few days, life yet flickered within crimson eyes. The Clan was at first overjoyed to see it alive... but that happiness quickly turned into fear. Instinct urged the other dragons to isolate her from the others. She was given a choice: stay and be one of them or leave. And when she sank her fangs into another egg, changing it forever, the choice was made for her. All she could say in her defense was that it 'was her nature'. And thus she became Lady Wolfbane.
