Hellfire Wyverns are so named for their foul tempers and fiery visages. Their social structure places all females above all males, due to superior physical characteristics and violent dispositions. Forced subservience of the males causes them to become vicious, petty, antisocial, and passive-aggressive compared to the aggressive and social females. However, orphaned hatchlings raised by foster parents of another species can develop surprisingly even tempers and mellow dispositions, proving that their defining unpleasant nature is, in fact, a learned behavior.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Being caveborn, Mercy had a rough life even when just an egg. The females of his species were in never-ending conflicts, causing many males and their children to become lost and confused, as well as eggs being forgotten by their violent mothers. Mercy was one of them, and he had to live all by himself in the land that remained after the conflicts ceased. He grew afraid of any other dragon who passed by, and lived from eating the small creatures left in the ashes of his burned homeland. And when he grew up, he had the wish to meet with his own kind again, hoping they were all safe now that the females' troubles were finally gone. But now that he has a family, every time he looks at his many children, he worries about his innocent brothers and sisters who died many years ago; still wishing to one day avenge their death and to face the cruel and vicious larger beings of his kind, and defeat them for what they have done without mercy.
