Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Ever since it hatched, it has been hiding among the tree leaves.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon is addicted to two things; sweet, juicy fruit and the beautiful strains of music. However, she is not meant to be a passive lover of these two things. Instead she cultivates her own fruits, mangoes mostly, caring for them with exquisite care and producing some of the largest, tastiest ones the world has ever known. She then happily fills her belly on their insides... and then uses the hollowed out shells to make musical instruments. While this might seem bizarre, her fruits have just the right amount of rigidness to actually serve quite well for drums or the base of a guitar or ukulele, and with such a variety of lovely products to offer, tourists frequently swarm about her little instrument-and-fruit shop.
