Two-Finned Blunas are a very social breed of dragon, living in packs of dragons called “pods.” Blunas are very curious and playful creatures and several dragons in a pod will often “play” with one other, chasing each other around, tossing seaweed back and forth, and riding ocean swells. They are occasionally seen swimming alongside whales and dolphins.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Violetwater is a clan dragon. Before his gender was known, he was originally thought of as a female. He is the leader of his very own clan-pod, which consists of other Two-Finned Blunas. His pod occasionally helps Water of Blue Lake clear up the rivers and streams. He is an old dragon, and has many tales to tell.

Born a pack dragon with the name of Mizu no baioretto, meaning Violet water, he often was left alone to hunt as a hatchling. When he grew up, his mother abandoned him because of his gender, therefore making Violetwater a loner dragon. He then wandered about, planning for his future. He befriended Echofrost, a clan healer, who invited him into her clan. He accepted. After 15 years of being in the clan, he met up with some other Two-Finned Blunas, and a season later created Kestrek-stuce's first clan-pod. He and his podmates have always been proud of their accomplishment, and always fiercely protected the pod. Yet they are a kind and gentle group, always helping other clans.
