Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Translucent Alabaster is a lover of the arts, particularly the sculptor's and potter's arts. Though her dainty claws allow her more dexterity than most dragons, she lacks the ability to manipulate clay into pleasing shapes, and so she begs, charms, borrows, and steals (and if she must, pays) to have beautiful porcelain pieces added to her collection. Her lair features shelf after shelf of the finest china, from translucent vases thin as a flower's petal to gorgeous detailed statuary. All of it, if she has a choice, is finished in shimmering pale colors that match her scales.

Alabaster's greatest treasure, kept in her furthest chamber where a beam of sunlight slashes down through a great crystal, is a fragment of her own eggshell, as glowingly translucent as any work of a master potter's hands.
