Daydream Dragons are the hosts of daydreams and fantasies. They spend the majority of their time sitting on clouds, dropping daydreams down into the minds of people passing by. Humans who live near Daydream Dragons must be especially careful not to let their thoughts wander, or they could end up spending hours or even days in a trance-like waking dream state.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stellarinne is very kind, if a little out of touch with reality. Her time is usually spent floating aimlessly around on her little cloud all day and often night too, dropping crazy, random, happy daydreams into the minds of anyone she sees, be they human or dragon or other creature. She will return to the cave whenever she is tired, curling up like a cat, hugging her little pink tail tuft and sleeping curled up in a little ball. Her favorite time is night, and she will give out regular dreams too when she decides to stay up late, which happens often. Most other dragons call her the "only semi-nocturnal dragon they've met". She would be 100 percent nocturnal, but likes watching the sunset a little too much to skip out on daytime entirely. Even if Stella tends to be a little crazy and quirky, she is very nice and will always try to help anyone who needs it. Stella became half-nocturnal because of how much she loves the stars, and will look at them for hours while floating around.
