Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Jacob Genesis is an extremely cunning dragon who is genuinely adored by his mother, Rebekah Genesis. He was born from a multi-clutch of two eggs, his brother Esau Genesis and himself. Unfortunately for Jacob Genesis, his brother hatched first and was destined to receive all inheritance from their father, Isaac Genesis.

In an interesting turn of events, Jacob Genesis tricked Esau Genesis into selling his birthright for a fake "rare storm cloud" that Jacob Genesis had plucked from the sky.

Jacob Genesis has taken two mates after mistakenly asking Laban Genesis for his daughter's hand in marriage and receiving the wrong bride, Leah Genesis. He then toiled for Laban Genesis for seven years to earn his true love's, Rachel Genesis's, hand in marriage.

In general, this dragon is cunning and determined. However, he can be rather cruel and tends to favor Rachel Genesis over Leah Genesis. This tends to create favoritism within his many children as well.
