Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

It Feels Like Christmas is one of her adoptive human mother's favourite dragons, but she is sometimes met with some annoyance in the surrounding human settlements. Whenever she appears amongst them the locals suddenly find themselves filled with the inexplicable urge to burst forth into song and spend nearly the rest of the day dancing. Quite often any young man and woman who have never once spoken to each other in their entire lives will find themselves singing a duet about their undying love for each other, regularly backed up by a team of street sweepers doing back flips and the odd cart wheeling apple seller.

While the children love these bizarre events and spend all year looking forward to them, the adults have long grown weary of spontaneously performing incredible feats of acrobatics and trying to reach that inevitable high note. In fact some of them attempt to run away when they spot Feels Like Christmas approaching in order to avoid the good will and cheer radiating from her.
