Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A couple of days after Christmas, Wisp's egg was discovered by Kurei and the dragons in his care. The egg was covered by snow, only just barely visible, and yet when Kurei held it, it still burned to the touch. Not long after that, Wisp hatched and immediately earned her name. She was always hard to keep track of, almost seeming to disappear from right in front of whomever was watching over her. Most anyone ever saw of her was a green and gold blur. As she grew, she witnessed her handler arguing with a few people who wanted to take some of his dragons, especially the rarer breeds, trying to convince him they were nothing but mindless beasts. Not long after that she started to patrol the borders of Kurei's property, in order to get early warning to the dragons if they ever came back, a task that she continues even now as an adult.
