Skysilk Dragons spend their days drifting through the heavens, their voluminous manes billowing like clouds. Imbued with air mana, their fluffy fur is incredibly lightweight—so much so that it defies gravity, taking on a mind of its own as it puffs upward. This property makes them quite popular among avian species—birds flock together for the opportunity to play among a Skysilk’s fleecy crown. Docile and patient, Skysilks are quite tolerant of this treatment, with hatchlings in particular developing tight-knit friendships with their feathered visitors. Interestingly, their lustrous scales always retain their dull gleam, despite the frequent presence of tiny critters.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

4LENS's large, round glasses make his eyes look big and his pupils tiny, giving him a continually-surprised expression. Eyes, and how people react to eyes, fascinates him, but studying peoples' reactions to eyes didn't seem like a worthwhile use of his time, so he became an ophthalmologist. His native aquilo magic may not seem the optimal element for his career, but he has found numerous ways of making use of the spells that come easily to him. Most obviously, he developed a method of enchanting eyeglass frames to create an atmospheric disturbance within them to warp light much like a lens, but lighter and without the risk of breaking into razor-sharp shards when hit. He also can tell eyeball pressure by a simple puff of wind to the face, and when eye surgery is necessary, a gust of wind can be moulded into a blade the size and shape needed to make the procedure as minimally-invasive as possible. His secretary, a staterae-transformed parrot, is invaluable to his office's function.
