Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Lurky has serious trouble because of two very strong yet opposing instincts struggling for dominance. From her Lurker ancestry, she has inherited the desire to always stay hidden in the shadows, to watch and wait for unsuspecting prey and jump on them from the dark. But her Nebula side demands that she stays out in the open during the night, watching the wonderful and beautiful sky, choosing a constellation of her own. As a hatchling Lurky could be seen crawling out of the shadows of her parents' lair out to a plateau only to sprint back into safety the moment she reached the middle of the place sometimes up to two dozen times before she gave up and crawled back to her bed exhausted.

As an adult Lurky has found a dark crevice where she can hide but a small gap allows her eyes free sight of the sky anyway. Her markings might be less shiny than those of her brethren but almost no one ever sees them anyway, except her prey, and they get no opportunity to give any kind of comment.
