Royal Blue dragons are a nocturnal breed who prefer to live high in the mountains near slow-moving water that reflects the night sky. Although quite capable of defending themselves, they are peaceful by nature and will avoid a fight whenever possible.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Gravian is a grave a serious dragon. He has almost no sense of humor and no time for frivolous actions. He often gives out advice that he knows is sound and cannot understand why the other dragons in his Cave laugh at him or do not follow his very good ideas. No other dragon seems to understand the best way to live their life, so Gravian feels he has to tell them, especially when they are on the brink of doing something wrong. The hatchlings are the worst offenders since they will frequently run off in the middle of Gravian's lecture without waiting for him to finish.
