Found along the coast and in nests high above the ground, Mistra Dragons are respected for their gentle nature. They are known to adopt any abandoned eggs or hatchlings that they find and raise them as their own, singing softly to lull their young into a deep sleep. As a result of their close relationships with their families, Mistra Dragons tend to live in large, close groups. They use their large numbers to their advantage for many things, including putting on shows (of sorts) and frightening predators away from their nests.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Mistrakes is prone to slipping up a lot.

He's had such troubles since he was a tot.

He'll sing a tune with lyrics he's forgot

Then ad-lib words that he should really not.

He's gotten in more trouble than he aught

From creepy lines he accidentally wrought.

Once, after one recital he was caught

By Fell into the Trap, a juggernaut!

Disgruntled, Fell flung Mistrakes through the air;

Mistrakes met Fell's young stratos daughter there.

Terrified, Mistrakes could only stare

While Stratos G said her father was unfair

To hurl him for an unintended swear

And took him back into her airborn lair.

One thing led to another... Now they share
