Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rylli is known for his passive-aggressive behavior and tendency to lash out unexpectedly at others. He was accepted in the clan when he defended the confused and lost hatchlings from a much larger, hungry Red Dragon. Though Rylli's vigor makes up for his lack of size in battle, he has trouble fitting in peacefully with the others. He longs for companionship, but doesn't know how to create it. Because his breed is known for this behavior, his attitude is often excused. With a little time Rylli will make an excellent companion. Finnlay has taken him on as an apprentice with Matinee. Rylii and Matinee had a rocky start, but he seems to have more respect for her now. He doesn't pick as many fights with her.
