It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Blossom is not very tough, but she is probably one of the smartest dragons you will ever meet. She doesn't have many friends, since she can be a little weird and over protective of herself, but she does have teardrop for a friend. But who says blossom isn't cool Blossom unleashes her beautiful attractiveness during mating season, and usually tends to be more popular then goddess! But after mating season, those male dragons can kiss her goodbye, after the baby dragon is born, blossom usually tosses all but one egg aside, including the father. And, she lives in a library, literally. Ever since blossom was a child, she enjoyed books so much, so when it was time for her to leave her parents, she found an abandoned mansion, decorated it with book shelves, and stuffed it with all her favorite books. She tends to only hang out with teardrop, but she is fond of angel, the wind dragon. Usually, they mate together in mating season. Hopefully blossom will get some new friends, maybe even goddess
