Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Abandoned among many other Green Dragon eggs, Pine Paw grew determined in helping others. She considered herself lucky to be taken in with other different dragons instead of being left to die. But she pitied the other Green Dragon eggs and wished for them to be taken too. Luckily, they had been adopted also, by either people or recognized again by family. Pine Paw is still bent on helping others, and catches more prey than the others.
