Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Arcailis is the first Silver dragon to be a full member of the Kadesh clan. Raised by the clan leader herself, Arcailis didn't want to join the solitary silvers living on the edges of his clan's home valley. He has always been better at flying than most, which is why he and the clan's best flyer, Telielsei, have always understood each other better than anyone else. Arcailis, being much younger than Tel, didn't think she would consider him as anything more than a friend. The age difference didn't matter to Tel, who was hopelessly attracted to the shining silver male. The two have been inseparable mates for life ever since. Arcailis has been trying to get the solitary silvers to join his clan, but to no avail.
