Spotted Greenwings are relatively small nocturnal dragons. Easily recognizable by the fleshy appendages growing off of their head and rump, they are most commonly seen in forests at night, leaping and soaring from tree to tree. While generally social, spotted greenwings are very quiet and rarely make any sort of vocalization. Their bodies are unusually warm to the touch, though they are unable to breathe fire. Greenwings are voracious feeders and will consume nearly any living thing that they can fit in their mouths.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Deepwater Pond is a spotted greenwing dragon. She is very docile and gentle, and she can be found inhabiting the bogs and marshes in the eastern part of her clan's territory. Although many of her spotted greenwing brethren spend their days eating everything and anything they manage to fit into their rather small mouths, she prefers to explore the shady, soggy areas and discover strange plants and glowing mushrooms that sometimes grow in the dark marshes. Noticing her useful ability to locate herbs and medicinal plants no matter how hard they are to reach, the white dragons of her clan have appointed her as their official 'supplier'. Strangely, each time she finds something new, the growths on her back become slightly bigger, almost as if they swell to store the new found knowledge.
