Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon... except for the tangle of dangerous-looking vines surrounding it...

Now there are even more vines. Perhaps something is happening?

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

User Description

Still mobile and not yet burrowed, Grapevine enjoys his freedom immensely. He is a curious little thing and since a small hatchling is not really a danger to anyone most dragons don't mind him being around. So Grapevine knows a lot of stuff about the adult dragons and their relations among each other. And he doesn't mind sharing anything he learns with others.

It has become almost a proverb among the clan members to use "I must have heard it through the Grapevine" whenever they don't really want to tell how they learned about something or have already forgotten who originally told them.
