Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Casting Colors is one of Phoenix's dragons. He is a boastful, chin-tipped-up dragon that unfortunately is not very smart -- most of the dragons know that butting heads with him isn't worth the effort. Nonetheless, he is good-spirited and loves telling stories to the hatchlings, and Phoenix has tried several times to get him to pull a sleigh during the snowy seasons, though she hasn't been successful yet. Colors is also quite obsessive over the way things look, be it himself, the Christmas decorations, or the polish (or lack thereof) on the scales of the shinier dragons.

Colors's mate is Arrogance in Temperament, a Ridgewing dragon that lives up to her name and tends to be the dominant voice of the pair. However, Colors has also kept up an affair with Patience of a Saint, though they both have kept mostly quiet about the relationship, and the fact that Colors is the real father to Patience's daughter.
