Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s already quite large compared to other hatchlings, and appears to like roughhousing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Breadwinner's Glory is a young Brute dragon that was "frozen" in her youth. Though she may never age up to adulthood, the dragon herself isn't too disappointed. This hatchling has no yearning for a mate, nor does she much care for the open air, feeling a bit elite in her ever-young age, occasionally teasing her elders on their apparent decay. Breadwinner's Glory is content with playing with the smaller dragon-like creatures that she calls scroll-mates, specifically the drakes and pygmies, as their smaller size makes them ideal targets for some impromptu rough housing and horseplay.
