Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Nebulas are known for adapting the patterns of constellations on their bodies... but this female is peculiar. Astrologists confess that the markings on her wings match no stars they've ever seen, and the mystery lasted for many months--until a pair of zoologists decided to follow her and discover her secret. What they found was remarkable; her patterns seemed to be not of stars, but of fireflies, changing every night as she moved in graceful dance with flocks numbering in the millions. And she wasn't alone, either; a graceful green nebula danced with her. This behavior has never before been observed in nebulas, and the zoological community is quite excited about the whole matter, eagerly discussing whether the pair's offspring will continue their parent's behavior. However, their theories about her wings aren't exactly set in stone; skeptics insist that they likely just come from stars that are too dim for their telescopes to see, but which would be crystal-clear to her powerful eyes.
