Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

While Frohst may look like a Winter dragon, it is actually a Spirit of Winter.

The Spirits of the Seasons appear all year round in different forms, but no one knows if they physically change to suit the seasons, or if they just sleep for the other nine months of the year.

These ethereal beings are incredibly powerful; however they do not have the same values as normal dragons. They are also bound by obscure rules, such as if you tell them your name they will answer three questions. As the Spirits are knowledgeable in the ways of magic and of the earth, this knowledge can be highly sought after. However, many dragons feel that the Spirits are up to no good, as no one knows what they do with the names they collect. When asked, they simply state "We cannot tell you that. You have two more questions. Choose wisely"
