Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

This dragon was cursed by an angry Magi dragon at birth, and now he shall never know the life of a full-grown Copper dragon. His parents are the cave elders Magnificent Copper and Blazing Copper, and he looks up to them like a son should. He dreams of one day breaking the binds of the spell to grow up and take his father's place as a cave elder. However, this dream is unlikely, because the Magi that cursed him was the most powerful in all of EG's Cave. Spells by the likes of him are not shed easily.
