Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Whirlpool is weird even among the Nebula dragons, who are often considered crazy by other breeds for their obsession with stargazing. Instead of simply observing his namesake galaxy, he claims to see strange visions coming directly from the beautiful spiral galaxy.

In his visions, or so he said, he saw a civilization discovering one of the three ancient artifacts that allows them to travel between the stars, promoting its use throughout the galaxy for all civilizations to evolve. And then he saw the second artifact, which was misused by another civilization who seek to dominate, and was subsequently lost in a massive war with its owner banished to the corner of the galaxy. Lastly, he speaks of prophecies detailing the return of the defeated civilization along with the second artifact, seeking to return home long after forgetting their history.

To this date, no one understands a thing of this claimed vision of Whirlpool, and most denounce it as utter nonsense.
