Magma Dragons are capable of withstanding the intense temperatures of their element. They live in volcanic regions, their bodies coated in the red hot magma which clings to their scales. They must leave the lava fields in order to hunt, although they require surprisingly little food to sustain their lumbering mass.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Erihp was a Magma Dragon created by a freak accident with an extremely strong form of pyromancy, A.K.A. fire magic. Flammole, an adept magician, was practicing his magic near the volcano, trying a spell that was way too powerful for him to handle. The magic that he was using was supposed to control the magma from underground to cover him in a strong skin of lava. The spell backfired, and instead formed a strong egg-like shell around itself. The rock, which was a strong source of magic, was actually Erihp's egg. Erihp now is found wandering near the volcano, showing off her unique abilities, being made of pure lava. When she gets hurt in battle, her magma expands, causing her to grow with it. The more she gets hurt, the more her body expands. When she is "defeated", her body violently shrinks back to it's normal size (about the size of a man), causing a large explosion. She then scuttles back to a hiding place, which is full of magma, and recharges her strength. She is very dangerous.
