Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Stella Primogenitura is a seventh generation purebred Nebula dragon. The cave members behold her with pride; she is polite, charming, a stunning aerial flier, a combat expert, a master of hunting, and is overall a beautiful specimen. They do not know that Stella has noticed them puffed with pride as they look over her, each convinced that they had helped produce one of the finest dragons in the cave.

In truth, Stella Primogenitura, which means Star Birthright,  is completely aware of how high other's standards are for her purely because of her lineage. An exceptional dragon in her own right as she may be, Stella secretly despises how she feels like a trophy put on display. Several times she has considered moving out. However,the expectant faces of the other Nebula dragons stopped her, as they believe it is her duty to carry on the purebred Nebula blood that flows within her veins.
