Dragons are creatures with nearly unlimited life spans. They can survive for long periods of time, and no one has found a dragon that has died of old age. Adolescence is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Once they hit adolescence, hatchlings change quickly, maturing to their full forms in only 2 years.
Dragons don’t communicate with each other verbally, but they will growl to scare off predators and frighten prey. Young dragons will emit an extremely high-pitched squeal when they are frightened. To communicate, they use telepathy with each other and to speak to other creatures.
It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.
Motherly, caring, and sophisticated are the best words to describe this dragon. She is sort of the mother of the clan and just loves to babysit the hatchlings and the eggs. This sounds very cute and sweet but even this is very negative in some ways, since cassidy carmen became quite bossy and stressed because of all the responsibilities of babysitting. Cassidy Carmen isn't the oldest dragon of the clan but still the first egg that has ever hatched. She lies about her old age, finding it embarrassing. Unlike most other purple dragons her yellow green vines or ears are much longer. She also has a natural talent in finding delicious food in even the most troublesome times. She tends to put the needs of others over her own needs. She feels a strong sense of responsibility and duty. Because Cassidy has such acute hearing and sense of touch in her vines, Cassidy has the ability to perceive others lies by their heart rate when she touches them with her vines. Cassidy is very loved.
