Nebula Dragons are nocturnal creatures. With the best eyesight to be found, they are often seen staring into space. Each dragon tends to observe a particular nebula and will eventually change their colors and patterns to match it. As the nebula changes over time, the dragon changes with it. The more intricate the design of the nebula, the better chance an individual has of attracting a mate. It is said that the markings on no two Nebula Dragons will be exactly the same.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Axupiy mougly firestrong is a dragon with scales that glitter like stars. Axupiy is a scout dragon that roams unknown territories to see if they can be claimed for his clan. Being a naturally loyal, highly intelligent, reliable, proud, and honest dragon he takes on this dangerous job to ensure the well being of his clan. He doesn't travel alone; he does his job with his best friend Edgar Topanok and relative Billy Steward Mougly, forming a strong team. Axupiy is, however, blinded in his pride, becoming selfish and vengeful because of it. Ever since Alvaro Raw Elivra, a Nebula clan member, caused him and his Nebula Brethren to be cursed by their own alpha magi dragon, he always attacks Alvaro when he is near. Other Nebula clan members also feel bitter but not as much as Axupiy. His anger comes from his belief that his own alpha punished him and other dragons for something they didn't do and for Alvaro Raw Elivra's crime, done against their own alpha, left him feeling betrayed.
