Lumina Dragons received their names from their highly reflective scales, which—at times—seem to glow. They are vain, always strutting about and preening incessantly; if one of their scales has so much as a scratch or a defect, they’ll remove it. Luckily, their scales grow back quickly, and each new growth is more beautiful than the last. These narcissistic dragons live in small groups and prefer to surround themselves with beauty. The females guard their territory and eggs while the males search for vegetation to eat.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

36MUD is fond of the idea of dungeons that several groups of unaffiliated adventurers traverse while fending off various monsters—and occasionally (preferably) each other. He has created a dungeon to run as he dreams and essentially forced its use by making it in a major tunnel through the Drowned Mountains—essentially the safest place to cross during the winter. Those who traverse his dungeon he calls 'users' for some reason. His dungeon is still plenty dangerous, of course, since he regularly lures a few wild monsters in to challenge his adventurers. Sometimes, he even invites bandits to camp out and attack these 'users'. He takes treasure from those who lose their lives in and around the dungeon (along with a few 'valuable' shed scales) to stock a few stashes of treasure—also intended to attract users to adventure in his dungeon. He wants as high a population as possible so that he has a 'multi-user dungeon'—his record for highest population at one time so far is thirty-six.
