Albino Dragons are so named because their translucent, scale-less skin lacks all pigment. Instead, to help protect their bodies from the sun, they are coated in an oily secretion that blocks the sun’s harmful rays. The call of an albino dragon is similar to a barn owl--a shriek instead of a roar.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Ekali is a studious dragon who likes to study the trees in her forest. So far, Ekali has determined there are at least ten different types of trees near her Cave. She has also determined that there are several more that don't fit into her classification system, but she has yet to label them correctly. Ekali isn't sure why no one else seems to care that there are several types of trees but she cannot seem to garner any interest in her research. Really, the dragons living with her should pay more attention to the world around them. Someday it will become important to know the trees in her area, even if Ekali cannot determine how such information could be used practically.
